A friendly hello and "Moin" from northern Germany,

My husband and I are true Dithmarsch natives. We love our little town and our region with the endless sky, the healthy sea air and we love the fresh wind that can sometimes blow from the front.

Our house is located on the outskirts of Wesselburen in a quiet residential area. In 1997 we converted and extended our small granny flat into a pretty and cosy holiday flat and have modernised it time and again. Our guests have their own entrance and their own terrace, all on the ground floor. The holiday flat is fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home here

Our entire property covers just over 1400 square metres with a large garden and pretty seating areas. It is mainly looked after by my husband. My hobby is sewing bags and purses and knitting stockings and scarves.

Wesselburen with its wide surrounding countryside offers attractive destinations for recreation, relaxation and pastime. Ideal for short, long and long bike tours or long walks. There are small farm cafés everywhere where you can take a break and enjoy a cup of coffee and a tasty treat. Let yourself be spoilt and enjoy the hospitality of the people of Dithmarsch.

Popular excursion destinations include the Eidersperrwerk, the North Sea spa resort of Büsum, the offshore island of Helgoland, boat trips to the Halligen islands, St. Peter-Ording, the Kiel Canal and so much more. The Kohltage (cabbage days) here in September and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in summer are particularly popular. Famous artists have given concerts in our beautiful St Bartholomew's Church. You can find the dates and information on the internet

Be curious, come by, there is a lot to discover here.

We would be delighted to welcome you as our guests.
